Camp Info & FAQs
ID Prospect Camp FAQs:
What clothing and equipment should campers bring?
Campers will receive a camp t-shirt and pinnie at check-in. Campers will keep the t-shirt but must return the pinnie at the conclusion of camp.
We encourage campers to wear/bring:
- A light-colored t-shirt
- Dark-colored shorts and socks
- Soccer cleats and shin guards
- A refillable water bottle
All cones, balls, and other necessary training equipment will be provided throughout the day.
Will meals be provided?
Yes. Food will be provided during the video presentation portion of camp and will include sandwiches, granola bars, and fruit, with gluten-free and dairy-free options available.
Please note: food is provided for campers only, so other family members watching camp should plan accordingly.
Will transportation be provided between facilities?
No. During camp, there will be a portion that requires travel from Wagnon Training Grounds to Rock Chalk Park, approximately a 15-minute drive. Campers and families are responsible for their own transportation between locations.

Can parents stay and watch camp?
Absolutely! Parents are welcome to observe for the entirety of the day, including campus tours, training sessions, and presentations/Q&A sessions.
What happens in the event of inclement weather?
In the event of inclement weather, we will adjust the camp schedule as needed to preserve the camp experience. If weather impacts training sessions or games, we will utilize indoor facilities available.
What is the camp refund policy?
- 80% refund: Up to one week prior to camp
- 50% refund: One week to 24 hours prior to camp
- No refund: Within 24 hours of camp start
When will camp details be shared with registered campers?
Camp logistics will be emailed approximately one week prior to camp. This information will include the camp schedule, parking details, and any additional relevant updates.
Will an athletic trainer be on site?
Yes, an athletic trainer will be on site. If campers require taping (ankles or otherwise), families are asked to bring their own athletic tape. Water and Gatorade will be provided for all camp sessions.
What forms are required prior to camp?
All campers must complete standard medical and concussion waivers. All forms are completed through The Good Game app, allowing for a fully paperless registration and check-in process.
Why did the registration process change this year?
Our camp format remains the same as previous years. The only change is the transition to The Good Game Platform, which makes registration easier and allows families to access future Kansas Soccer events all in one place.
Will lodging be provided?
Lodging is not provided for campers. However, there are many great hotel options in and around Lawrence. For lodging, dining, and local information, please visit:

Youth Camps FAQs:
What clothing and equipment should campers bring?
Campers should arrive each day with:
- Soccer cleats, shin guards, and a soccer ball labeled with the camper’s name
- Plenty of water and sunscreen
- A packed lunch (full-day campers only)
- Snack money (optional) — families may also load money onto a snack account
- Any necessary medications (please note: staff are not permitted to administer medications)
- Excitement for a great week of soccer!
Will meals be provided?
No. Full-day campers are responsible for bringing a packed lunch each day.
A Snack Station will be available twice daily, offering kid-friendly items typically priced between $1–$3 per item. Snacks may be purchased with:
- Cash at the snack table, or
- A prepaid snack account loaded upon arrival via cash or Venmo
Can parents stay and watch camp?
Yes! Parents are welcome to stay and observe camp activities for the entirety of the day.
What happens in the event of inclement weather?
In the event of inclement weather, we will take appropriate precautions to preserve the camp experience. Depending on the timing and duration of weather delays, schedules may be adjusted. If weather impacts training sessions or games, indoor facilities will be utilized.
What is the camp refund policy?
- 80% refund: Up to one week prior to camp (minus a 3% CC processing fee)
- 50% refund: One week to 24 hours prior to camp (minus a 3% CC processing fee)
- No refund: Within 24 hours of camp start

Camp logistics will be shared approximately one month prior to camp. This communication will include the camp schedule, parking and drop-off information, and other relevant details.
Additional follow-up emails will be sent weekly, with daily recap emails sent each evening during camp.

FACILITIES
Opened in 2014, Rock Chalk Park is one of the top collegiate sports facilities, featuring a 2,500-seat stadium recognized as a premier soccer venue. The complex includes everything student-athletes need to perform at their best, locker room, players lounge, coaches’ offices, athletic training room, equipment room, and a multi-level press box for TV and radio broadcasts. Accessible parking and drop-off are available near the main ticket window at the east side entrance (off Rock Chalk Drive).
